Smart Gas Systems was established in 2019 and is based in the Eagleford Shale region of Texas. SGS’s primary focus is on scavenging H2S from natural gas and oil. Our goal is to bring our customers a inexpensive way of eliminating H2S without the hassle of troublesome solids. We will design and work around our customer needs. Whether they need a full turn key solution or just needing one of our unique ScavTech product lines for their existing scavenging equipment.

ScavTech 5500
What is Smart Gas Systems Natural Gas Scavenger?
• H2S scavenger developed to be a direct replacement for MEA or MMA Triazine for all application methods.
• Has a -40F Pour Point neat and -40F on spent product
• Does not create troublesome solids typically associated with over spent triazine
(Dithiazine)
What is the PH:
• Ph is similar to Triazine @ ~9.5-10: however, unlike triazine this product will neutralize as
it spends to full capacity.
Does ST5500 React with Co2:
• No This is the #1 focus when developing H2S selective scavangers.
Is it Corrosive?
• NO
Is it an Oxidizer?
• NO
What is the Capacity of the product?
• ST5500- Is similar to a 40-50% Triazine. It can scavenge 1 lb of sulfur per gallon
Supply Chain:
• Unlike Triazine we have not seen raw material shortages for these products.
• There are no foreseeable price increases due to product shortages. (Fuel increases and
inflation maybe)
What is the byproduct of spent Scavenger?
• Spent scavenger can be described as a water-soluble Thiol.
• Dispose of spent product similar to Triazine but with less PH shift.
• Possibly eliminating the need for paying additional disposal cost.
